Hello my darling friends! Today I’m super excited to be sharing with you all the November Release from Picket Fence Studios. I have 5 slimline cards using the new Slimline Die Cutting System. I will describe how I made my first card and then I will show you some pictures of my other creations. I hope you like them. Let’s begin!
For my first card I have a slimline Christmas card and I’m featuring the new Winter Snowflakes Dies and Snowflake Lawanda. These dies are perfect for layering and I die cut them out of cardstock, vellum and others were heat embossed. You will see in the next pictures how gorgeous they look.
I started by die cutting a base card and a layering base using the Slimline Die Cutting System from Picket Fence Studios. Then, on my layering base I applied Distress Oxide inks using a Life Changing Blender Brush. The colors I applied are the following: Aged Mahogany, Victorian Velvet and Milled Lavender.
Next, I sprayed water using a Distress Sprayer and removed the excess with a paper towel. Additionally, I added splatters of white ink and let my panel dry.
Once my panel was dry, I die cut a bunch of snowflakes using the Winter Snowflakes. Then, I created clusters of three layers with the snowflakes as you can see in the pictures.
I glued each cluster of snowflakes to my panel using liquid glue. I trimmed down some of the snowflakes that were hanging out of the panel.
My sentiment is from Fancy Christmas Sentiments Stamp set and I used Hybrid Black ink to stamp “Merry Christmas” with the help of my MISTI. I also, added WOW! Clear Gloss Embossing Powder on top and heat embossed the sentiment.
I die cut the Lawanda Snowflake out of white cardstock and then I heat embossed it using WOW! Be Mine Embossing Glitter. Additionally, I die cut another snowflake but this time out of a laminated sheet that has glitter in it. I adhered both snowflakes to my panel and also a card base at the back. Finally, I added drops of Tiding Stickles, White Nuvo drops and Moonshine Sequin Mix from Picket Fence Studios around the background and this card was ready.
My next card features the Lydia Snowflake Die and it’s definitely my favorite design. I created an ornament with this snowflake.
I also added the Winter Snowflakes to the background and heat embossed the sentiment “peace on earth”. I simply adore how this card turned out.
My ornaments has a belly band that can be detached.
Next card! This one features the Slimline Daisy Burst Stencil, Drink Your Green Stamp set and dies and Margarita and Creme de Menthe Sequin Mixes.
What a sweet stamp! This one is Pet all the Dogs Stamp and dies.
And for my last card I have a watercolor slimline featuring Bugville Stamp set. This stamp has the coordinating dies.
